The International Research-Creation Week is a space for contemporary ways of thinking and making at the crossroads of arts, sciences, humanities and technologies. It is organised by Diego Jarak and the PoLiCÉMIES laboratory, in dialogue with a network of researchers, artists and cultural institutions.
The 3rd edition has a twofold aim: to share research-creation methodologies from a situated, transdisciplinary perspective, and to make processes visible rather than results alone — work sessions, inter-network workshops, international academic meetings, a doctoral defence, work-in-progress presentations and a residency showing.
Programme highlights: a round table on research-creation in France, the United States and Argentina; “The invention of form” with Horacio Wainhaus (FADU/UBA); Agustín Ramos Anzorena’s doctoral defence at the Muséum; a lecture by neurologist Roger Gil on the benefits of art across the lifespan; a work in progress by Maëva Ferreira da Costa; a design session with the TRAS network; the residency showing L’homme chez les microbes (Atelier du Caméléon); and work sessions on La mémoire de l’eau with Colectivo Línea 60 and the BRGM.
