This video mapping, projected onto three fifteenth-century doors, interweaves historical texts, period testimonies and archive images into a narrative halfway between fiction and history: the imagined life of a prisoner of the tower, a silent witness of the past.

The doors, taken from the tower’s permanent exhibition, are fixed to a wall from behind. In total darkness they seem to detach and float. The illusory lightness of these heavy objects — heavy in matter and in symbol — contrasts with the projected story: doors of confinement become screens of freedom, where the weight of history dissolves in the fleeting light of images.
